Over the years, Blizzard has released several books, detailing the journeys and perspectives of some of Sanctuary's most iconic characters. These books have highlighted the stories of Deckard Cain, Tyrael, Adria, and most recently Lorath. Now, for the first time, these four books are available together as the Horadric Vault - Complete Collection!
The Book of Cain is an object that is used to identify all unidentified items in a player's inventory with a single 5-second cast. It can be found in every town of Diablo III, right next to the stash chest. The Book was originally written by Deckard Cain.
The book follows Cain over the course of a few days in between the end of Diablo II: Lord of Destruction and Diablo III. Several key events are covered which relate directly to Diablo III, including the meeting and forming of a relationship between Cain and the girl who would come to call him "Uncle Deckard," Leah, who plays a critical role in
Book of Tyrael. The Book of Tyrael is a 148-page volume full of original art, lore, and stories about the Diablo universe, released in October 2013. This in-game piece of merchandise is formatted as though written and illustrated by the former Archangel Tyrael during his time as a mortal, after events of Diablo 3 classic.
Now here is a book well getting if you like the Diablo lore. Rich full of detail and even goes into each of the characters. It's as if Cain himself truly wrote the book.
